Our Story

We are Kairyn and Melanie. Best friends since middle school, we share a mutual love of design and creating beautiful spaces. With an eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, we’ve established a place where you can create lasting memories as you relax, unwind and celebrate in style.

A natural entrepreneur, Kairyn was looking for a new business opportunity in 2017, after closing the hair salon she had owned and operated for 11 years. She stumbled on a listing for a one-acre property in Harrison Hot Springs and, though it was dated and run down, she immediately recognized its potential.

To take on a project of this scale, she knew she’d need the perfect person by her side—someone who just happened to need an escape from a 14-year accounting job. That person was Kairyn’s bestie, Melanie.

“I have this idea,” Kairyn told Melanie, “but I’m not doing it without you.”

Melanie’s initial response was an enthusiastic, “Heck, yeah!” After all, the adventure checked all the boxes. Being her responsible self, Melanie took time to consider the opportunity. After thinking about it for one whole day, she said, “I’m in!” 

Kairyn and Melanie knew that with their common values—love of renovation and design, outstanding work ethic, and attention to detail—along with grit and determination, they would make their dream a reality.
